Information and tips

'Learnt young, done old' is exactly why we regularly visit schools and events.

Below you can register your school for a school visit or contact us if you are organising an event where it would be nice for us to visit with an ambulance. We will first check the availability of volunteers, as regular services obviously take precedence.

We also like to offer some interesting information and tips regarding animals (first aid) on this page.

Schools

It is important that children learn how to interact with animals from an early age.

'Learnt young, done old' is exactly why we regularly visit young people. During a school visit, our volunteers tell about all the exciting adventures in the emergency room and ambulance. A look in and around the ambulance is of course part of this.

Sign up school visit:

Conditions:

  • Only schools within our working area;
  • From group 3 onwards;
  • The availability of our volunteers is taken into consideration, as regular services naturally take precedence;
  • Prior to the visit, we expect a fee of €50.

Events

Are you organising an open day, safety day, festival, fair or other fine event? Would it be a nice addition to have an animal ambulance on site?

If availability allows, we will gladly join in with an ambulance and stall. This will allow us to inform young and old alike by offering tours and play activities, among other things. At the same time, this is an opportunity for us to recruit much-needed donors and volunteers.

Fireworks

Fireworks cause much animal suffering and environmental pollution every year
