Middenweg closed

Work

Due to works, the Middenweg from Monday 28 October to April 2025 closed to vehicular traffic between Voorlandpad and Kruislaan.

The tramway on Middenweg is not accessible to ambulances, so we too will have to drive towards the city centre via the A10.

Motorists

We will remain accessible from the A10 ring road.

Public transport

Tram line 19 will continue to run. Tram stop Brinkstraat will be converted and temporarily moved 50 metres towards Diemen.
R-Net buses will be diverted, travelling via the A10/ Gooiseweg to and from Amstel Station and will not stop at the intermediate stops.

Cyclists and pedestrians

Cyclists and pedestrians can continue to cycle and walk along the Middenweg.
However, the crossings at Wembley Avenue and Zaaiersweg are temporarily closed and people have to cross at Veeteeltstraat.

More information can be found at the website From Municipality of Amsterdam.
