Ambulance driver

Gezocht: chauffeurs voor in de nacht

You ensure efficient and safe transport

As an ambulance driver, you will drive the ambulance and work with the co-driver and dispatcher to help animals (in need). As a driver, you will first be trained as an animal rescuer. Your duties include:

  • You drive the ambulance, ensuring efficient and safe transport;
  • You provide (first) aid to animals (in distress);
  • You stabilise injured animals; 
  • You provide aftercare to the animals and any owners and bystanders.

Night shifts are particularly challenging: there is a certain calmness about the city, you mainly drive emergency trips and there are no traffic jams at night. In fact, the city is yours for a while at night.

We ask

  • Min 21 years and education at min MBO level
  • Inzetbaarheid van min. 8 uur per week
  • A commitment of min. one year
  • Good social and communication skills
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal
  • Driving licence B and excellent driving skills
  • Day shift: 09:00 - 18:00
    (half shifts possible)
  • Evening service: 6pm - 11pm
  • Night shift: 23.00 - 09.00
